Insurance

Payment for treatment is due at the time of service.  Patients are asked to leave a valid credit card on file which will be automatically charged if payment is not made at the time of service.

Dr. Boyd currently does not participate as a contracted provider for any insurance company, but is considered ‘out of network.’ Many PPO insurance plans may partially reimburse for services treatment. You will be given a detailed receipt for each visit, called a superbill. You can submit the superbill to your insurance company for reimbursement. Reimbursement varies widely and is dependent on many factors including your deductible, out-of-pocket max, and rates set by your insurance company.

Fees & Policies

Dr. Boyd understands the decision to begin a new therapeutic relationship can be a difficult one, with numerous variables including the potential fit between patient and clinician, the mode of therapy and the cost of therapy.  To help prospective patients plan for the costs of treatment at Functional Psychiatry of Santa Fe, Dr. Boyd has provided the following guidelines:

Dr. Boyd’s rate for psychiatric services and for Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy is $300 per hour plus New Mexico gross receipts tax.

Patients at Functional Psychiatry of Santa Fe who are seen for medication management are required to schedule a minimum of one hour-long appointment every three months.
